RESIDENCY
A Research retreat, by invitation.
DURATION
ABOUT
4–8 weeks, set individually.
The Dreamers Residency offers a small number of artists studio space and accommodation in Presidio, set within the stillness of the Chihuahuan desert. It is not a program that runs on a fixed calendar, but one shaped by invitation and by the pace the work itself requires.
Work produced during a residency may later form the basis of a solo exhibition at the gallery, and publications may be produced by Le Livre Art Publishing. Neither is guaranteed — both depend on where the work leads.
ACCOMMODATION
Residents stay at Las Sombras, a 1954 structure fully reimagined as a private desert suite, set within a walled garden in central Presidio. The space extends outdoors — an open-air kitchen, shaded seating, a dipping pool — with movement between inside and outside, sun and shade, part of the rhythm of each day.
INQUIRE
STUDIO
Work may take place outdoors, in the walled garden at Las Sombras, or within a dedicated studio space inside the gallery — whichever suits the work at hand. Both settings share the same conditions: quiet, distance, and desert light.
The Dreamers Residency does not accept unsolicited applications.
Those interested in future consideration may reach out directly — inclusion is not guaranteed and is reviewed at the gallery's discretion.
FORMAT
By invitation only.
No open application.
