THE LOST PAINTINGS

FEBRUARY 2, 2026 TO MAY 2, 2026

« The Lost Paintings » brings together a group of artworks gathered across Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico – works that had been forgotten, overlooked, or left without a clear authorship. Some retain fragments of identity, while others remain almost entirely anonymous: their artists unknown, their dates uncertain, their histories largely lost.

Collected intuitively rather than through a fixed curatorial plan, the works slowly revealed an unexpected survey of American landscape and life scenes – desert, villages, flowers, animals, and distant horizons painted by different artists across time.

Presented within the quiet, weathered space of The Dreamers Gallery, these works are offered a second life. Each painting has been given a new title, while (Untitled) remains as a quiet reminder of what has been lost. Visitors are invited to look closely and allow their own narratives to unfold.
